Dizzy's OBS Overlays

for Dizzy

A custom stream overlay package — plus a pipeline to push new scenes straight to her setup — the close-collaboration build, designed for a partner who streams a different vibe entirely from Bizzlebeard or Rewkers.

The Problem

Dizzy's stream has a softer, slower-paced aesthetic — crochet, conversation, walking the audience through her week. Generic high-contrast streaming overlays aren't right; she needed something that matches the warmth of the show.

What's Being Built

  • Custom overlay set in her color palette + type
  • Subtle alerts (no jump-scare goblin sounds)
  • Donation/follow recognition that's warm, not loud
  • Day-of-the-week schedule strip
  • Reusable across her platforms

Shipping New Scenes Remotely

Beyond the overlays themselves, the setup is built so new scenes can be delivered to her without a screen-share session. Scenes are edited off-site in OBS, committed to git, and her one-click launcher pulls the latest, translates the asset paths from macOS to Windows, and opens OBS ready to stream.

  • Git-versioned scene collection — a WIP branch plus a ship-when-ready deploy branch her launcher tracks
  • Cross-platform path translation (macOS → Windows) so scenes built on my machine just work on hers
  • Git LFS for media assets — images, video, audio, browser sources, fonts
  • One-click launcher: pull → translate → open OBS, with instant rollback to any prior version

Status

Work in progress. Targeting late summer 2026 for completion ahead of Foldster's Projects' formal launch.
